SUNDAY SERVICES
We return to the Civic Centre on Sunday 6th September. Government guidance is constantly being amended. It is uncharacteristically ‘heavy-handed’ for Beacon but we will need to be strict about implementing this guidance and it is responsibility of everyone who attends to cooperate fully.

ON-LINE SERVICES
We will continue to record an on-line service each week, at least for the time being. This will be released on the usual social media platforms at 12.00 noon each Sunday rather than at 10.30am. The message will essentially be the same at both live and recorded services which does mean the speaker will need to do it all twice!! It also means we will continue to look for people willing to open and close the service, read a Bible passage and lead prayers. We did consider live-streaming the service from the Civic, or recording it for later upload to Facebook and YouTube but do not believe we will be able to achieve an acceptable quality recording.

SATURDAY MORNING PRAYERS
Saturday morning prayers will resume on 5th September, on Zoom for the time being, at 8.30am.

ELDERS’ PICNIC IN THE PARK
No further picnics are planned as we return to the Civic and, in theory (!!) the weather will deteriorate.

THE BEACON OFFICE
The Beacon office remains available as a ‘Covid secure’ resource for small meetings. Please contact Glyn to ensure you don’t clash with anyone else.
